False Front Display navigates the tension between architecture, art and illustration.
Strongly shaped by architecture — facades in particular — I develop a notion of buildings as narrative surfaces.
I am interested in how spaces, through objects, become carefully composed scenes,
generating atmosphere, meaning and emotion without the need for explanation.
The images are detached from constructive constraints, material rationale and formal convention.

[False Front]
In architecture, the false front (also false facade, flying facade, screen wall)
is a facade designed to disguise the true characteristics of a building, usually to beautify it.

[Display]
A piece of work to be presented visually.
